potterhead.net is an unofficial, non-profit fan website. It has no affiliation with Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc., J.K. Rowling, Bloomsbury, Scholastic, Wizarding World Digital or any other official rights holder of Harry Potter.

2. Nature of the Site: unofficial fansite
2.1. potterhead.net is a project made by fans, for fans of the Harry Potter saga. It is an unofficial fan website, run on a non-profit basis for entertainment, information and community purposes.
2.2. potterhead.net is not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by or authorised by Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc., Warner Bros. Discovery, J.K. Rowling, Bloomsbury Publishing, Scholastic, Wizarding World Digital or any other entity holding rights over the Harry Potter universe.
2.3. Nothing on the Site should be read as an official communication from the rights holders of the saga. The Site does not aim to impersonate, or be mistaken for, an official website.
3. Acceptance and changes
3.1. Accessing and using the Site makes you a user and means you accept these Terms and Conditions, the Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
3.2. We may change these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with the update date. Continued use of the Site after publication means you accept them.
4. Trademarks and intellectual property
4.1. Harry Potter, its universe, characters, names, logos, places, spells and Hogwarts houses are trademarks and/or intellectual property of their respective owners, in particular Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc. and J.K. Rowling. “HARRY POTTER” and all related characters and elements are © and ™ Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc. Wizarding World™ is a trademark of J.K. Rowling and Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc.
4.2. References to these trademarks and works are made for informational, descriptive, commentary and tribute purposes, on a non-profit basis, within what applicable law permits (including the right of quotation).
4.3. potterhead.net does not claim ownership of any intellectual or industrial property rights in the Harry Potter universe. Third-party content belongs to its respective owners.
4.4. The Site’s original content (our own texts, design, code, quizzes, articles, etc.) is protected by intellectual property rights. Reproduction, distribution, public communication or modification without permission is prohibited, except as permitted by law.
4.5. potterhead.net does not sell official or licensed Harry Potter products and does not present itself as an authorised retailer.
5. Terms of use
5.1. You agree to use the Site lawfully, respectfully and in good faith, in line with these terms.
5.2. You must not:
- Use the Site for unlawful purposes or in ways that harm the rights of others.
- Post offensive, discriminatory, defamatory, violent or pornographic content, or content inciting hatred or harassment.
- Impersonate other users, the Site team or the official rights holders, or pose as an official website or account.
- Post copyright-protected material without permission (books, films, music or pirated content).
- Introduce viruses or harmful code, perform mass scraping, denial-of-service attacks or unauthorised access attempts.
- Send spam or carry out unauthorised commercial or advertising activity.
- Collect other users’ personal data without their consent.
5.3. We may remove content and suspend or delete accounts that breach these terms, without prior notice.
6. Registration and user accounts
6.1. Some features (saving quiz results, profile, etc.) require creating an account with a username, email address and password.
6.2. You confirm that the information you provide is truthful, and you are solely responsible for keeping your credentials safe.
6.3. You must be at least 14 years old to register. Users under 14 need the consent of a parent or guardian. If we find a user does not meet this requirement, we may delete the account.
6.4. You can request deletion of your account and data at any time by writing to potterheadapp@gmail.com.
7. Quizzes, results and entertainment content
The Site’s quizzes (Sorting Hat, Patronus, wand, character, etc.) and their results are for fun only, have no scientific or psychological basis, and are not a substitute for professional advice.
8. User-generated content
8.1. If the Site allows comments or other content (“User Content”), you are solely responsible for it and confirm that you are its author or hold the necessary rights, and that it does not infringe third-party rights or the law.
8.2. You grant potterhead.net a non-exclusive, free, worldwide licence to host, reproduce and display that content on the Site and on its official social media profiles, solely to operate and promote the Site. You keep ownership of your creations.
8.3. Fan works (fan art, fan fiction) are derivative works of the Harry Potter universe: they belong to the original rights holders, are shared on a non-profit basis and may not be sold through the Site.
8.4. potterhead.net is not responsible for user content, but will promptly remove any unlawful content of which it has actual knowledge (Art. 16 LSSI-CE).
9. Third-party links and affiliate links
9.1. The Site may link to external websites. We do not control or take responsibility for their content or policies, and a link does not imply any relationship or recommendation.
9.2. If we include affiliate links (for example, to shops), we will state so clearly; we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.
10. Reporting infringements and takedown
If you are a rights holder (or their representative) and believe content on the Site infringes your rights, write to potterheadapp@gmail.com with: your identity and proof of ownership, the exact URL of the content, and a good-faith statement that it is unauthorised. We will review the notice and, where appropriate, remove or block the content as quickly as possible.
11. Disclaimer of warranties and limitation of liability
11.1. Information on the Site is for information and entertainment only. We do not guarantee its accuracy, completeness or currency.
11.2. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the Site or that it is free of viruses, although we take reasonable steps to prevent them.
11.3. To the fullest extent permitted by law, potterhead.net is not liable for damages arising from use of the Site, third-party content or external links. Nothing in these terms limits consumer rights that cannot be excluded by law.
12. Contests and paid services
Any contest or giveaway will have its own rules and, unless expressly stated, is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by Warner Bros. or any official Harry Potter rights holder. If we ever offer paid services, their specific conditions will be provided in line with consumer law.

14. Online dispute resolution

15.1. These terms are governed by Spanish law. Disputes will be submitted to the competent courts under applicable rules; if you are a consumer, the courts of your place of residence will have jurisdiction.
